As a broader point, in my estimation, it’s more about getting guy’s to learn the system – how it actually operates, and how to maneuver within it. I see too much of the gloom and doom attitude in MRA circles – “The system is too big, it’s hopeless. It’s stacked against men, and theirs nothing that can be done about it!” Yes, the system is “stacked” against men – especially those who do not understand it. Some years ago, the paternity-establishment racket in California (and elsewhere) was exposed. Welfare counselors would make leading suggestion to women that they should name a man with money as their baby-daddy (and even to give incorrect addresses). But, ultimately, the real problem came down to men who simply did not respond. Men who did not believe themselves the father all too often, born of ignorance of the legal system, simply chose to do nothing – and default judgments were issued against them. Men who could demonstrate lack of service (of legal notification) could contest such a judgment. But, still, many who could have, never did.
