If I was dying of cancer, I would want to know so I could live life to the fullest while I was still physically able and get all my affairs in order. You don’t have the right to withhold the kind of information that so significantly affects my life (and death) decisions. I’ve already said not to be dishonest to manipulate or be cruel; and those are only reasons to change how or whether to share information, not to lie.
